I am fathomless in expressing my appreciation to you. I had this speech which I had reharsed many many times in my brain. But I just could not speak it out when I met you for the last day. Looking at the clock, ticking faster each time as the minute hand goes by, my mind went blank and only tears filled in my eyes.
Being in a LDR with you worked for both of us during my attachment period but not my undergradute periods. I understand fully that it is very difficult for both of us. We both wanted to be there for each other when one has a crisis. But I do hope that we can stay strong (especially for me) and hold each other tight.
For the past few weeks, I enjoyed every moments with you. Be it at your room rotting or bathing M, it made me felt that those presences were enough. You are right that I always do not appreciate things when I had it and I only want things that I do not have it. I know it is kind of bad to a certain extent. Oh well, maybe that's part of my characteristic that makes me determined and persistent.
You still rmb that day at smoochies bristo? I had a crazy night out with you. Yes, it was a casual fine dining place. However, matter of factly, I enjoyed the times we shared. And THE CHOCOLATE LAVA (will update on fb) was totally AWESOME!!!!! The chocoloate liquid in the cake will ooze out (not kidding)!! Apart from that, I totally miss the crazy side of me. That's how I am when I am in secondary school. I always gone completely wacker. Lolx. But studies and important exams just tied me down. I hope I can be like this always.
To BD, if you are reading this, I would like to drop this message to you. I know that everything you did have taken consideration of me. Your work progressing slowly is because of me. Yes, I am dominating and have my own thinking. But, as saying goes, "behind every successful man, there is a wise woman". Truly, I just want to THAT WOMAN OF YOURS. I have faith in whatever path you chose and made. AND Yes, I am naive last time to stop you from doing what you like and I totally owe you an apology. So I hereby wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. *chuckle* I'll be very competitive with you if you are ahead of me. Lolx. I am kidding. I will only do that when we are playing monopoly as this create more fun. Lastly, while typing all these, I took out Francis to cry on. The first and the last time I wore this in SYD was the time you came to visit me. Other than that, it will be kept as it is my precious. I know it sounded silly but you cant stop me *giggle*
My final semester for my degree! I supposed to be happy but I do not feel this way. I felt that I am too old to study as it took me quite awhile to process all those information during lectures and practicals.
Once again, I am worried for this semester. The courses that I took seemed to be difficult. And dear BD, you have to bear those complains from me again. Good that we are a distance apart. If not you have to massage my back. lolx.
Yes, I am back to SYD and I am all alone again. Good or bad? I am not sure.
I had to apologise for being late again, BD. Sorry to keep you waiting for all these years. I srs need to reflect on my time management.
AnyOhow, truthfully, I had the most amazing night in my entire life. That night was the perfect night. Weather was breezy and cooling, however, no stars. A really good weather for hot chocolate with mashmellow. This will always be our favourite drink in such weather. Still remember that we drank that every night when BD visited me.
BD made 2 flasks - hot chocolate and camomile tea. Really sweet of him!!! Both tasted delicious. Eventually, we did not play scrabble. Instead, we lied on the mat and our heads on the cushion and we chatted.
BD kept talking about what were parts of the clouds resemble of and me agreeing to all of them. It was really fun. After which, I began to talk about something serious and important. Though BD did not give me a definite answer, I know what the answer will be.
BD started to get tired after those cups of camomile tea. In the end, he sat down, brushing through my hair, and we chatted those moments of happiness we spent together throughout this 1 month. And then we started to play with his touchlight-cum-florescence light. I was totally amazed by the florescence light! I did not know how cool it was when he get excited to buy it the other time.
Anyway, this was the part that amused me!!! When you shine the florescence light on "old" visa card, you will see the hidden dove!!!!!!!!! !!!! Try it!
On 18 February 2010, BD and I made our signature oreo cheesecake topped with fresh korean strawberries. Thanks to BD for his hard work of whipping all the ingredients together. Srs, I am considering of buying an electrical whipper, however, I do not bake that often (with my studies going on).
Anyway, BD recommended 1 day freezing for the cake. Hence we made one day in advance.
I am so proud of my cake. I really love baking!!!!!! Mum totally like my oreocheesecake. I made just specially for her - less sweet. Oh wells, my whole family loved the cheesecake. And they cleared all just one night and one morning!
O-mi-gosh!!!! Holy-moley! I found these plasters in the ziplock bag as I was cleaning up my drawers. However, forgive me, I have forgotten why BD kept these in the ziplock bag? I only remember all these plasters were his favourites. He kept them for quite some time and used on my wounds. This was so sweet of him! Lolx. Giving me his precious collections on my dirty wounds.
Im not sure which came first but I knew I used both. The plaster on your left was BD's favourite plaster. It so happened that it had the colours of my favourites, yellow and orange. I love warm colours!
I bet if I opened this ziplock bag. It will smelt like dead bodies. Lolx. Even though I could not recall what have happened, there is still blissful feelings inside me. I still can remember how proud or elated I am wearing these plasters. Like this little imp who was gloated about what she had done.
Update 2:
We walked along CQ river. It took us quite some time to get this picture taken. This is because Indians are forever irritating and brainless. They hogged up this area. And they still refused to leave this spot after 5 pictures were taken. Sometimes, I really do wish Indians can be more polite and have some manners pls!!!
It has been some time we took this kind of stand-up picture. I love BD holding behind me or hanging ard my neck. I just feel the sense of security and his warmth. Awwwww....*blush*
Ta-da!!!!!!!! My Vday hand-made pressie! I'm loving it. Geez!! I have to admit it looked damn awesome!!!! To my disappointment, I cant hang it up in my room (perhaps SYD room?). Mr. B stayed up and took damn long to finish this (without distraction from me). Additionally, it took him quite awhile to choose this colour/design combi. He knows I am very particular about this. Anw, did I just say I love it like hell lots??? I think I did.
Srs, we really did not believe or wanna celebrate vday because we always quarrel or some mishaps always happen. This is how freaky it seems to be. Our 1st vday was the simplest and the smoothest!
After dinner with my SYD frenz, we headed off to Azabu-sabo. One of my favourite jap dessert cafe. I love their matcha!!!! It simply rockz! The best dessert is always the zenzai (green tea ice cream in a bowl of dumplings and red bean paste). We also tried the matcha milkshake!!! Gwad!!! It tasted heavenly....!!!!
RIVER HONGBAO?I am so so so so exhausted from all the visitings. The day before today, I went out with my family to the River Hongbao for the food exhibitions. Matter of factly, the food wasnt that fantastic. They were awful and salty. Therefore, I did not take any food photos. Worst, I had to queue up for 45mins for this freshly fried&baked gao kui. I have to admit it is soft but SALTY. And it did not taste so well when it was cold.
However, the art and crafts exhibitions were really fantastic. Look at this peacock. It actually used all the spoons to build it.
Another thing that caught our attention during the River Hongbao was the honey thingy. I do not know what it was called. It looked sth like this:
The person used hot honey to make some design on the marble table. Design ranges from rooster to dragon.
The trick of this art is that you have to do it fast as the honey cools quickly on this marble table. You will be impressed by how it is done. Trust me!
So K and I bot this butterfly.
Ahhhhh...... I wondered how my vday gift made by BD will look like? I keep guessing but I srs have no idea. It seemed so nice till I am very proud of him. But, poor BD, he had to stay up late to do this for me and wake up early for his work. So I decided to give him a whole body massage later, exclusively for you only. I miss BD already. Clue 1:
Alrighty, I didnt even have the intention to cut my hair today. However, my hairstylist will not be back before I am gone. So I have no choice but to cut it today. And yea, I have cut my hair short after keeping medium length hair for about 5-6 years plus. AnyOhow, I am quite satisfied with my short hair. Lolx. Srs, I dunno if short/long hair suit me.
This is one of my shortest hair compared to last few years. Matter of factly, it took close to 1 hour to cut this hair style since it's from long to short hair.
Overall, I am quite happy with it. However, I am just unsure if it will still look fine when my hair grow longer.
I just know that short hair is sleek while long hair is safe. This is because there's nothing you can do much with long hair unless u want to do your own curl and tie different hairsytle everyday. I am bad at tying my hair. Trust me. I never once use a comb to tie my hair coz it doesnt work for me. Call me pathetic, if you will.
I hope it will look so much better after make-up.
Anyway, I quite looking fwd to cny and those goodies. And yes, I put on weight (good or bad, u decide?).
I have to get ready to go my gran's hse for reunion dinner and BD's gran hse for reunion dinner after mine.
Drostdy-Hof. Wheeee!!! I finally finally finally found my favourite red wine!!!!!!!! I have been drinking this particular red wine since few years ago. However, I always did not know the name of it. This is because my Uncle bought it from Paris/London/South Africa. He told me that this packaging cannot found elsewhere (but not sure about now). Oh wells, I did not notice the packaging as I was happily drinking this splendid red wine.
Drostdy-Hof Claret Select 2007 (South Africa only) - This medium-bodied red blend has a rich bouquet, with complex berry flavours on the palate. The Claret Select is a well-balanced wine that is soft and accessible within a few months after bottling.
I was wondering around my pop hse and I saw this at the tea table! Yummy! I know he will open it during cny when I visit him again. I srs cant wait to get a sip of it. I miss the aroma and the taste.
I was gobsmacked to see it on my pop's table when I visited him this morning. Immediately, I took out my mobile and snap it! I want to always remember it so that if I happen to visit UK or any wine collection in Singapore, I am able to buy them in bulks! Lolx. Srs, it's really nice. If you are a first-time (red) wine drinker, you might want to try this brand/selection.
